In situations where your Shopify store uses local delivery services, or you want to display any additional steps/information to your order’s status, we got your back!

  • You can add as many statuses as you want and give them a custom name.

  • Provide your customers with additional information about the order and set a custom status based on the product you are offering (for example, ’’Order dispatched - The courier has picked up your order, your food is on the way!“).

  • Define a timeline for when a new status should be triggered (for example, set a status change in "x" amount of time (in minutes), and the status will be automatically updated).

Follow the below steps to enable the new feature:

  1. Access the Shopify store admin, and navigate to Apps> Order Status Tracker> Settings> Result Page.

  2. Ensure that the Custom Status feature is enabled, as seen in the screenshot below:
  3. Aside from your carriers' default core order statuses, such as Order Placed, Ready to Ship, In Transit, Out for Delivery, and Delivered, you can also add unlimited custom statuses in between each of them. Just click on Add custom status, and a pop-up window will appear where you can add input the necessary details as per the screenshot below:
  4. While at the Add custom status pop-up, define your Status Name and its Description and add a timeframe if necessary (after how many minutes the status should appear in your order status).
  5. Your Order Page will be updated automatically, and you are good to go!
