The app lets you import the metafields in bulk making it a time-saving approach. But before importing the metafields, ensure that the format of the sheet matches to the format that the app supports.
To ensure that the format matches the app format, merchants are provided with the sample import sheet when they tend to import the metafields.
Let us show you how you import the metafields in bulk:
- Go to the app dashboard
- Select the resource where you want to display the additional information in your storefront.
- For instance, click on the product to display the additional information on the product page
You’ll be taken to the Products Metafields page. Click on Import
As soon as you click on import, you’ll be asked to select the file from your system. In the same popup, you’re given a Sample XLSX template. This template can be utilized to match the format of the sheet to avoid conflicts.
When you click on Download, a sample sheet will get downloaded.
- For a smoother import, delete the values from the sheet & utilize the same sheet to import the metafields.
When you’re done with the sheet, upload the sheet & click on Submit
- You'll be redirected to the Activity Logs page once the import is started. And all the metafields you added through the sheet will be listed under their respective products and you’re done!
