This element allows you to define a time period during which the form can be filled out, as well as limits on the number of submissions. It also allows custom messages to be shown to users before the form starts, after it ends, or when the maximum submissions are reached.

Options and How They Work:

  1. Start date / End date

    • Defines the dates during which users can submit the form.

    • Start date: the date when the form becomes active.

    • End date: the date when the form is no longer active.

  2. Start time / End time

    • Specifies the exact time the form becomes active and ends each day within the selected date range.

    • Can use 12-hour or 24-hour format depending on settings.

  3. Number of allowed submissions

    • Limits the total number of form submissions.

    • For example, “100” means only the first 100 submissions will be accepted.

  4. Messages

    • Before start date message – message displayed to users before the form is active (e.g., “Form will open soon”).

    • After end date message – message displayed when the form is past the end date (e.g., “Form submission period has ended”).

    • Submission closed message – message displayed when the maximum number of submissions is reached (e.g., “No more submissions allowed”).

How the Element Works in Practice:

  1. Before the form becomes active, users see the Before start date message.

  2. When the start date and time are reached, the form becomes available for submission.

  3. If the form passes the End date or End time, users see the After end date message and cannot submit.

  4. If the maximum number of submissions is reached before the end date, users see the Submission closed message and the form is closed.
