Save for Later
Enhancements & selective exclusions on the cart page.
Increase customer retention by adding "save for later" buttons for saving orders for future purchases. It’s an effective sales-boosting technique where next time customers add items to their cart; they'll see all the other items they considered in the past and might add some of them to their current order.
To-do
- Analytics of what items are saved.
- Exclusion rules for items that merchants don't want to be saved.
- Include an “Add to Cart” button next to each reserved item.
- When customers view their cart, they’ll see a “save for later” link under each product.
- Customers can find their saved products list on their account or My Wishlist Page.
- List the “saving button” at the bottom of the cart page.
