How to Add Wishlist Button to Your Product Pages Using Online Store 2.0 Themes

Shopify Online store 2.0 Themes - Block SupportShopify Online store 2.0 theme doesn’t require code placement for the Wishlist button on the product page. The button can easily be enabled and placed right from the theme customization section.Check out the steps below to understand how Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme works with the app: Advanced Wishlist Widget PlacementNavigate to the Online Store section of your Shopify store and under the Themes page and look for your preferred Shopify 2.0 theme that is compatible and click Customize.The store preview would appear.       2.  On the Theme Customization page, click on ThemeSettings in the bottom left corner.This enables you to customize the Shopify theme.      3.  Click on App embeds tab on the right side of the page under the Theme settings block and enable the Advanced Wishlist app and Save settings.     4.  Using your store’s navigation, visit any individual product page (PDP). On Theme Editor select Products - Default product from the dropdown list.      5. In the left sidebar, under Product Information, scroll down to the bottom and click Add Block. Select Wishlist Button.       6.   Preview the Shopify storefront by selecting the View button from the Action menu in the top panel and the find Wishlist button added to the product page.The following steps involve adding a few lines of code or snippet additions manually. If you're not comfortable working with codes, we insist you contact us at help@hulk-support.com.  Basic App Setup     7.  Adding Wishlist button on the collection pageIf you want to add the Wishlist button to the collection page, you need to add the below code to the file card-product.liquid:<div style=“text-align: end;“>{% render 'hulkapps-wishlist-collection-btn', productId: product.id, variantId: product.selected_or_first_available_variant.id %}</div>        8.  Adding the "Save for Later" buttonFor adding "Save for Later" button to the cart page you need to embed code in the main-cart-items.liquid file:{% render 'hulkapps-wishlist-cart-btn', productld: product.id, variantld: product.selected_or_first_available_variant.id, looplndex: looplndex%}   9.   When you are satisfied with the placement of the Wishlist button, click the Save button at the top right. If you wish to update the Add to Wishlist text, you may find the setting in the App's admin panel.  Open Apps => Advanced Wishlist => Settings => Language SettingsAll Other settingsPlease update your preferences in the app’s admin panel, except for the button customization. IMPORTANT NOTE: Currently, only button customization is possible in Shopify's theme editor. Anything that is changed in the admin panel for buttons will not be visible on the storefront. Once you've configured your button via Online Store =>Customize, you do not have to update the button customization settings in the app’s admin panel again. This section is only applicable for Online Store 1.0 users.

Integrate Hulk Advanced Wishlist with Zapier

Get more value from your users' activity on your site by using Zapier with the Hulk Advanced Wishlist app. By using Zapier integration with our app, you can set specific automated events to occur when triggering the following actions:Add Products to WishlistRemove Products from WishlistMove Products from Wishlist to CartEnable Zapier IntegrationFirst, you need to enable Zapier in your app settings. You can find Zapier integration under the Integration tab.Next, create a new token under the same Integration tab. You will use this token later to connect your account.Create a ZapGo to your Zapier Dashboard and click on "Create Zap".After you have done that, you will be redirected to create a trigger that will start your Zap. Choose "Hulk Advanced Wishlist" from the list of apps. Choose one of the three events that will start your Zap as mentioned earlier. To connect your account to Zapier, copy the token you previously created in the settings of our app and paste it into the Advanced Wishlist API Key field here:Enter your Shopify Domain and continue (please use the following format for your Shopify domain: abcxyz.myshopify.com) . Once you have connected your account, proceed to test your added trigger. If the trigger is set up correctly, the New Wishlisted Products Response will be displayed. Create an ActionNext, you will need to create an action. An action is an event a Zap performs after it starts.You can choose from various options that are presented to you. We will proceed with Gmail as an example.From the dropdown menu, choose an event.Connect your Gmail account to continue.After you have done that, you will be presented with the Action section where you will be able to enter data you want to send when triggering the event. You can choose from Message, Product Title, Variant Title, Customer Email, Product ID and User Type. After filling out the data, proceed to test your created action. If the Test Action is successful, you can finally publish your Zap. Step-By-Step Guide to Integrate Hulk Advanced Wishlist with Shopify FlowThis guide will walk you through the process of integrating Hulk Advanced Wishlist with Shopify Flow. Get a detailed overview here.Firstly, you need to have the Hulk Advanced Wishlist app installed on your Shopify store. If you haven't done so already, you can install it from the Shopify App Store. Make sure that you're on the Ultimate plan to get access to the Shopify Flow integration feature.Install Shopify FlowAfter installing Hulk Advanced Wishlist, ensure you have Shopify Flow installed on your store as well. If not, you can install it from the Shopify App Store.Note: Shopify Flow is available only to the stores that subscribe to the Shopify Plus, Advanced, or Shopify plans stores that use the Shopify Fulfillment Network (SFN)Create a WorkflowAfter installation, open the Shopify Flow app and click on the 'Create Workflow' button. This will direct you to a new workflow page.Define Your TriggerClick on the '+' button in the 'Trigger' section. A drop-down list will appear, from which you should select the 'Hulk Advanced Wishlist' option. Once you've selected Hulk Advanced Wishlist, another dropdown will appear. Click on the '+' button under the 'Conditions' section. Here, you can specify the conditions under which the action should be executed. The condition options vary depending on the trigger chosen. For instance, if you chose 'Wishlisted item price drop' as the trigger, you might set a condition that the price drop should be more than 20%.The list of attributes available via the Hulk Advanced Wishlist Connector that you can use in your Condition are the following: User’s email addressProduct ID and Product Title Variant ID and Variant Title Variant SKU Product Price Product Quantity Product Vendor Product Type Product URL, Image URL and Variant Image URLAs an example, we are going to select the Image URL Condition.To get the Image URL of your product, you will first have to your Products page on Shopify. Select the product you want to use and open the specific product page.Next, add .json at the end of the page URL and press Enter. Here, scroll down to "images" and check if the the "product_id" matches the ID of your product as shown below and copy the image "src" (under the " ").After you have done that, you can go back to your Shopify Flow app and paste the URL into the Image URL field.Define Your ActionsOnce the trigger and conditions are set, it's time to define the action to be executed. Under the 'Actions' section, click the '+' button. From the drop-down list, choose the action you'd like to execute when the defined conditions are met.You can set multiple actions for a single trigger.
